I just wanted to let the OCD sufferers out there know that having a Alcat allergy test done that looks for IGG sensitivities has helped my daughter with moderate to severe OCD. She is sensitive to many things the worse being gluten. We started off just eliminating that one thing and wow what a difference. It has been a year since we started the elimination diet and she is at least 95% better. She is also on lexapro 20 mg a day, but had been on that for 6 months prior to the elimination of gluten, etc with only minor results. I also give her magnesium, B6, lecithin, calcium, and antioxidants on a daily basis. She has always been a healthy eater so that has remained the same less the allergens. I highly encourage you to at least try this as it has been a miracle for our family. One more thing, we discovered that the b complex we were giving her was making her ocd worse, more than likely because it contained folic acid which is a no no for people with ocd.
